Guardian Fingerprinting offers LiveScan Fingerprinting for employment background checks, criminal histories, and professional licensing requirements in the state of Florida. We are certified by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) and the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) for Level I and Level II background check submissions. With LiveScan your fingerprints are captured electronically on our scanner by rolling them across a glass plate. This eliminates the need for old-style ink and cards. No mess required. Your fingerprints are then sent directly to FDLE. No more wondering if your cards got lost in the mail. We also provide electronic fingerprinting and archiving for ATF Form 1 and Form 4 submissions.
Please use the following link to search the ORI Number for the State and National Fees for your specific ORI background check. These fees do not include the Guardian Fingerprinting Rolling Fee, Applicable Florida Sales Tax, or the Flat Rate CC Fee.

The "Transaction Status" is only related to the processing within the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE). There may be additional processing time within the organization requiring the criminal history check.

LiveScan Fingerprinting utilizes a specialized scanner to capture high resolution digital images of an individual’s fingerprints. To capture these images, your fingerprints are rolled across a glass plate and scanned. No ink and no mess. These digital fingerprints are then transmitted electronically to authorized agencies for processing and analysis. Each fingerprint is captured with precision which reduces errors and expedites the overall process. This is great for time-sensitive applications such as employment screenings or criminal background checks.
An Originating Agency Identifier Number (ORI) will be provided by your Employer or Regulatory agency. An ORI number is required for all LiveScan fingerprint submissions to FDLE. It is your responsibility to provide the correct ORI number to Guardian Fingerprinting.
The OCA number is the Controlling Agency Identifier provided to DCF to identify the provider requesting the background check. FDLE cannot process the background request without both an ORI and OCA number. Refunds will not be provided for incorrect ORI or OCA numbers.

No. Each agency requires its own set of fingerprints. Fingerprints cannot be shared between agencies.
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Cash. We do not accept personal checks.
While we prefer everyone to have an appointment, we do understand sometimes it is not possible.
